[11] May 2019 Prototype available! + Updates
Amanda & I will be presenting our thesis to the department next week! We have about two weeks from now to fix bugs for the upcoming showcase at the Game Center on Thursday, May 23. If you are in New York City, you can RSVP here!
I want to do a post-mortem reflecting on the design & development process soon. In the meantime, we are busy running around ahead of graduation. I've made a version of our May 2019 prototype available here! All previous prototypes are now unavailable. If you do encounter anything that makes the game unplayable, please feel free to reach out to us at operationkanshi [at] gmail [dot] com.
So, what is new??
- You can play it from beginning to end!
- The whole narrative is in the game now!
- The radio & wiretap are populated with audio.
- All the newspapers have headlines.
- Start screen!
- End screen with actual endings!
- End screen that takes you back to the start screen!
All things we are very excited about. I'll be sure to share more updates as we get closer to the showcase in a couple weeks!

Operation Kanshi, May 2019 prototype.
How to Play: Tune the radio to the correct station, and use the keyboard to decode encrypted messages. Wiretap the Regent's phone calls on the switchboard & select intel to report to your commanding with the mouse.
